How the Directory
Will Work

Three groups need this directory. Here's what we're building for each of them — and what they'll be able to do once it's live.

01

People Seeking Training

Searchers

If you're looking for firearms training, the process right now is inconsistent. You might find a range nearby, but you don't know what courses they offer, who teaches them, or whether the schedule works for you. You end up calling around or giving up.

The directory changes that. Enter your zip code, pick the type of training you want — basic safety, concealed carry, defensive pistol, long gun, competition prep, whatever — and see what's available near you with real information attached.

  • Search by location — zip code, city, or state radius
  • Filter by training type — beginner, intermediate, advanced, specialty
  • See real availability — schedule, cost, class size, instructor credentials
  • Contact directly — no middleman, no booking fee
02

Training Facilities & Ranges

Locations

Most training facilities have a website, but it doesn't show up when someone three miles away searches for firearms training. The directory gets them found — not because they bought an ad, but because they're listed where people are looking.

Every range, academy, and training center in the country will eventually be searchable here. Start with a basic listing. Add detail — courses offered, instructors on staff, facility specs, photos, contact info — and stay current.

  • List your facility — address, hours, contact, and specialty areas
  • Add your courses — with description, schedule, and pricing
  • Get found locally — appear in zip-code searches relevant to your location
  • Update any time — keep your information current without IT involvement
03

Independent Instructors

Instructors

Certified instructors who work independently — NRA instructors, USCCA instructors, law enforcement trainers who teach civilians on weekends — often have no easy way to reach students in their area beyond word of mouth. Word of mouth doesn't scale.

Instructors get their own profile: credentials, specialties, availability, and contact method. Students looking for private instruction or small group courses can find them the same way they find anyone else in the directory.

  • Create an instructor profile — credentials, certifications, and specialties
  • List your courses or availability — private, semi-private, or group formats
  • Set your service area — appear in searches for the area you actually serve
  • Own your audience — students contact you directly; no platform takes a cut
Status: Building

This is the plan. We're building it out and we'll get there. Check back often — and when the directory goes live, you'll want to be one of the first listings in your area.
